Partner with us

We take on a small number of partners, and we are specific about which.

This is the only door on this site, and it is deliberately narrow. Most allocations that go badly went badly at the point of fit rather than the point of return, so we would rather spend the first conversation on whether this belongs in your book at all.

§ 01

Who this is for

Four kinds of conversation, and they are not the same conversation.

01

Allocators and institutions

Endowments, foundations, pensions, and funds of funds who underwrite a process rather than a chart, and who will ask what happens in the quarter it does not work.

02

Family offices and private capital

Principals who can hold a position through a drawdown they were told about in advance, and who want the risk framework in writing before the pitch.

03

Anchor and seed partners

Capital that comes in early against a capacity-constrained programme, on terms that reflect the position rather than the fashion.

04

Counterparties and venues

Prime brokers, execution venues, and data providers. Different conversation, same door.

§ 02

How it runs

Four steps, and you will know where you stand after each one.

01

A conversation about fit

Forty-five minutes with someone who chooses positions, not a placement agent. We will tell you which of the programmes is actually open and which is not.

02

The full brief, under NDA

Terms, capacity, fee structure, track record, risk framework, and the operational detail. This is where the numbers live, and they do not go on a public page.

03

Diligence, including the parts we would rather skip

The losing periods, the trades that were wrong, and the controls that caught them. Ask for the failures first; we have them ready because we expect the question.

04

A decision, and a real reason

Either way, inside a fortnight of diligence closing. If it is a no from us, you get the actual reason rather than a scheduling problem.

Ask for the losing periods first. We have them ready, because we expect the question.

What is not on this site is on purpose. Fund size, terms, fee structure, capacity by programme, and the track record are shared under NDA with investors who are eligible to see them, because a public page is the wrong instrument for a number that needs context to be read correctly.

What you get in return is the whole file rather than a curated slice: the drawdowns alongside the recoveries, the programmes that were retired and why, and the risk framework in writing before anyone talks about allocating. If that sequence is the wrong way round for your process, say so early and we will not waste your quarter.

§ 03

Start here

Tell us what would rule us out.

The most useful first message is not a request for a deck. It is the constraint you are working inside, the question you would want answered before anything else, and the thing that would make this a no. We will answer that first.
